The story behind Femcares

Femcares was founded in 2020 by Felicia and Ottilia, two Gothenburg-based women who have known each other for over 10 years. Femcares started its journey at STING Test Drive for Health in 2020. At the beginning of 2021, they joined Women In Tech Venture Studio, which is a nine-month program to accelerate the business. In the fall same year the team was selected for Chalmers Ventures Startup Camp.

 

The goal is to revolutionize menopause care in Sweden, and eventually, globally. Well-being and healthcare should be accessible to everyone, no matter where you live or socioeconomic status. By using digital means, Femcares' mission is to raise awareness, break the taboo and guide women before, and through menopause.
